This is the full flow for the Classic Rules within Config Control. The user can set the rules for the benefits that their client has selected for their employees.
At ADP, I was primarily focused on the Benefits Selection Portal and the Prospect Benefits Selection process. The goal was to update a system that had not been updated since it’s implementation in 1995. Much of the work that the Customer Relations Managers did was also being completed in Excel rather than on the portal. Through many rounds of user testing I was able to create a new Config Control portal that is much more intuitive and user friendly. The biggest difficulty I ran into was convincing users that “the way it’s always been done” isn’t necessarily the best way anymore. After we unveiled the new portal, the users were pleased and felt that the new process was more streamlined and that it was easy to complete tasks.
